What is Delta Search?

Delta Search, also delta-search.com, is categorized as browser hijacker since it can redirect your webpage to delta-search.com. You will get mountains of piles of advertisement on your screen if your PC was infected by Delta Search, hoping that you will click those ads. These ads or links will lead you to many other malicious webpage, and then you will get other infections if you click those ads or links. Delta Search will redirect your current search page, change your home page, replace your default search settings and search engine. Step-by-step Removal Guide

Step one: Show up Folder Options from Control Panel

 Check the box of "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)", then click "OK".

Step two: End the processes related to Delta Search

Open Task Manager by pressing keys “CTRL + Shift + ESC”, search for delta-search.com processes and right-click to end them.

Step three: Delete files associated with Delta Search

Click on the “Start” menu and then click on the “Search programs and files” box, Search for and delete these files created by
delta-search.com:

Step four: Remove registry entries associated with Delta Search

Open Registry Editor by navigating to “Start” Menu, type “Regedit” into the box and click “OK” to proceed. When Registry Editor is open, search and get rid of the following registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ yhs.delta-search.com

  1. Tanks for this entire process for removal of Delta search,its similar to Babylon search that creating problem for removal but it can be easily remove from system by follow few simple steps with proper guidance.
